Get involved with the 2010 celebrations

There are nearly 200 events around the county this year to mark the International Day of Older People. Highlights taking place in Cambridge include:

  • an information fayre at the central library on Tuesday 28 September from 10.30am to 3.30pm
  • tea and tours at the Cambridge University Botanic Garden
  • ‘Cultural Experiences of Cambridge Residents’ event on Thursday 7 October at Buchan Street neighbourhood centre
  • ‘Engage’ events for over 50s at local libraries

Some are one-off events, and some on-going activities.
